Has anyone ever had their colon cleansed? Does it hurt/ whats involved?

Colon cleansing can be done a couple of ways. There are suppliment you can orally take that will ';clean you out.'; You can also have a series of colonic irrigations. The irrigations which are like enemas will cleanse your colon and also remove toxins that have built up. They do not ';hurt';, but you can experience a feeling of fullness. If you have some intestional gas, you may feel some brief minor cramping.Has anyone ever had their colon cleansed? Does it hurt/ whats involved?
