You should never soak crystals in salt water to cleanse them.





There are lots better ways to cleanse crystals without damaging them with salt water.





1. put the crystal in the window sill in bright sunlight for a few hours.





2, pass the crystal though the smoke of white sage or frankinsence incense.





3. wash them under running water.





4. set them on a quartz cluster for a few days.

try it , but it may bend it's aura. try keeping it in your butt hole for a week. This should unbend the aura.

It would be best to rinse it in water to cleanse it of any negativity - soaking isnt that good of an idea.

What gave you the idea of salt water? Cannot say whether this would harm it or not but I myself would choose vinegar over salt water. If this works on my dentures, I'm sure it would do the trick on your gemstone! Clear white vinegar by the way!
