Blood root is used in an escharotic formula for the removal of melanomas (skin cancer). It works great for that, and has been PROVEN in a court of law--TWICE--to work (yes, in America). The full story can be found in the book, ';When Healing Becomes a Crime';, about the Hoxey cancer cure.





I haven't seen anything that would suggest using bloodroot internally.





To remove toxins and other troublesome impurities from the blood, I now use stillingia and red clover blossoms in a tea. I include peppermint and a little spearmint too, for flavor.
