It is really an enema that flushes out the whole colon. A speculum enters your anus. Water enters through a small hose attached to the speculum. When your bowel fills with water the fill hose is shut off. Then the speculum is opened and the water and poo go out the speculum into a drain hose. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour. You never leave the table. The speculum stays in you the whole time, you are naked but with a sheet on.
