How was their experience? I'm considering it but I'm a first-timer. Mainly I want to try it out for a few days to see how well I can fast.Anybody tried the Master Cleanse diet?
Don't you may lose weight but will only cause yourself major weight problems down the line because you slow down your metabolism. Choose a healthy diet, and you will never be sorry. See article below for more info on the Master Cleanse diet, also called Neera Super Cleanse or the Lemon Detox Diet..Anybody tried the Master Cleanse diet?
Yes, my mother has and it worked BUT now she has a health condition from the stuff and she regrets taking it in the first place. I would seriously consider taking something else.

Has anyone used colon cleanse.....................do鈥?it work????/?
I usually sit on a NYC fire hydrant, it works the same.Has anyone used colon cleanse.....................do鈥?it work????/?
I have a friend in California who told me about this. She was beginning to have anal sex with her boyfriend, so she thought it would be a good idea.
As far as it working, I think it pretty much flushes your colon, so there isn't any nasty residue.
So that's my 2 cents.Has anyone used colon cleanse.....................do鈥?it work????/?
Yes it does but only take it at night just before you go to bed. That way when it works you won't be anywhere important. It doesn't hurt or anything so don't worry but you will get a bowel movement.
If is it for constipation purposes it does. I know of someone that uses it and it really helps him. This one you buy it at any GNC Stores.
never heard of it
no, i haven't but i heard that it does work.
that right
you have to be more specific about the brand name--is that the actual name because there are tons of different brands of colon cleanses.
...Like clisma? ...i hope so...
every three months i do a whole body cleanse....
try this one...i do it every 3 months
Enzymatic Therapy
Whole Body Cleanse

Internal Cleansing System Digestive, Liver and Lymph Cleanse No Harsh Stimulant Laxatives Simple 2-week Program True Dispersion鈩?Fiber
WHY CLEANSE? Intestinal health is the foundation for nourshing all bodily systems. Years of environmental exposures to toxins, buildup of unhealthy waste substances, and improper eating habits can all take their toll. Sometimes the body needs help to cleanse, detoxify and refortify the intestinal system. Better health can be achieved through Enzymatic Therapy's Whole Body approach to detoxification and rebuilding.鈥?
WHAT MAKES TRUE DISPERSION鈩?FIBER SO UNIQUE?
Completely breaks down in less than 5 minutes 鈥?5 to 15 times faster than the top 4 other leading encapsulated fiber products on the market. More mucilage content than flax fiber 鈥?cleanses more toxins鈥?So revolutionary that it is patent-pending So You Get All-the-Way Clean!鈥?
In order to get the full benefit of fiber, it needs to dissolve. ONLY Enzymatic Therapy's True Dispersion鈩?fiber dissolves completely in less than 5 minutes. Other fiber capsules take a long time to breakdown or don't dissolve at all. Many fiber products actually turn into semi-solid slugs that may not fully dissolve in the digestive tract. True Dispersion鈩?fiber provides a better cleanse than other products because you get the full benefit of fiber that goes to work quickly and cleans all the way down.

Anyone familiar with First Cleanse?
I am taking the internal cleansing product which I purchased from Vitamin World. I have had a constant dull headache for the past 4-5 days, and I'm not sure but the product may be the cause. Does anyone know why? I'd like to hear from anyone who has knowledgeable info. about this or other cleansing products for the body/colon. Has anything worked for you? Much appreciation!Anyone familiar with First Cleanse?
I wonder if your body is missing protein. Try eating something with protein and see if your headache is relieved. Also, drink some plain water.
Good luck. :)

What is a good cleanse???
I've been hearing lots of talk about cleansing. People don't eat for like 10 days and only drink some kind of fluid that's supposed to help your health.
Any ideas or explanations would be helpful and appreciated. What is a good cleanse???
You could take antioxidant tablets like Selenium...which you can buy at any supermarket or drugstore...
Or you could just go to the store and buy some sort of Fiber to help clean your system out.
Some people don't think that you need to clean your system out while others think it's not a bad idea....
From what I know, and from being in the medical field for 28 years, I suggest cleaning your system out...and here's why....
The foods that we eat today have a lot of things done to them before we actually buy them and eat them....they do put all kinds of foods through radiation to make sure they aren't contaminated....so this will zap out some of the vitamins and minerals that we need...so taking some kind of a vitamin every day would probably be a good idea..I know that I do...and I try to eat right...
Today, they put all kinds of stuff, chemicals, hormones and antibiotics into our food...all of this stuff will, if left in our bodies, turns into a poison you could say...now don't be alarmed, it's not poison in the sense that we are going to die...but if it accumulates in the body, it's not good.
So cleaning out your system is really not a bad idea....
The only thing that I can tell you is to try it, and see how you feel afterwards...
Buying all of your food items in the organic isle of the supermarket can be very costly...and most of us don't have that kind of money to eat that way all of the time...so we buy the other stuff that is available, just like everyone else does...
Hope this helps you...What is a good cleanse???
When you give your body a break from digesting new food every day, it switches into another mode, cleansing and eliminating toxins and residue that have built up over time. This is one of the reasons some ancient cultures used to fast one day a week. It is like turning your car's engine off so that you can clean it inside.
Some do cleanses and find it amazing that after not eating solid food for days, and passing very little, they would on the 6th day, for example, pass a large amount of some rather putrid stuff that had obviously been in there for a very long time!
What is a good cleanse depends on your objective. The Master Cleanse is the best one I know for removing deposits in the joints, for example, and for keeping your energy up so that you can function normally. Paavo Airola's vegetable broth cleanse is excellent for cleansing the digestive sytem and the body in general. These are both quite inexpensive. There are several companies that sell packaged herbs with psyllium for a colon cleanse that removes mucoid plaque that has built up on the colon walls and has been blocking the absorbtion of nutrients (see http://www.ariseandshine.com/ for example). Fasting on pure water alone is great for clearing the mind, centering the heart and contacting your inner wisdom.
I would not advise anyone to do a cleanse or a fast without first reading about it from several authorities who have practiced it themselves. The reason being, that it is very important to stay hydrated and have bowel movements during the cleanse or fast --- and it is even more important to know how to start eating again. You start very slow, because your stomach has shrunk, and gradually work your way back to normal amounts of food. For example, if you did an 8-day cleanse, it should take you four days of gradual increase to get back to eating normally. Also, as toxins are being removed you may find yourself very tired and have difficulty concentrating --- so it is best to schedule your cleanse on days that you don't have to work or keep other commitments.
Edit: for some reason Yahoo Answers is cutting off the web-address for the Master Cleanse, which should end with /ThemasterCleanse.pdf
Your body doesn't need to be cleansed--but the company that sells the drink makes a bundle by convincing you it does.
Eat 5 to 9 servings or fruit and/or vegetables daily, and whole grains. Drink enough water that your pee is always nearly colorless. That's all the cleansing you need.
This is a bunch of hog wash! Your body cleanses itself, that is why you have bowel movements. What you are doing with this diet is starving your body. I have never seen it help your health except you lose a little weight, that you gain right back as soon as you start eating again. If you want to feel better, eat right, exercise and drink lots of water.
The idea of a cleanse is to rest your digestive system and remove toxins from your body. It won't work if you just go right back to eating bad food.
Most people don't need to cleanse for longer than 3 days.
An apple cider cleanse is easy and delicious. Don't use store bought cider. Juice 4-5 apples, 4-5 times a day, and drink plenty of water and herbal tea, if you like it. Three days isn't long and most people find they feel good while doing this.
Best of luck.windows xp

I've heard of cleansing ourselves of hate. How's it done?
by not buying into negative concepts about oneself. by finding the truth and beauty in everything. hate is negative love is man made. negative does not exsist in the first place. spiritual words- freedom, honesty action achievment. whatever words that have a positive energy and how they are delivered. energy builds. can you dig itI've heard of cleansing ourselves of hate. How's it done?
You cleanse your hatred by trying to understand what it is you hate and whom and ask yourself if it's the person or the way they acted. You might find that these are actions you despise in yourself and would never commit...
It's much healthier to love than hate. Hatred will eat away at your mind, body and soul... Once you decide to forgive the healing process is immediate...
You're the only one that can truly answer that because you are the only one that knows what he hates...

Has anyone tried the cleanse patch.. the detox things you put on your feet? Do you think it works?
1. You don't need to detox unless you're an alcoholic or have heavy metal poisoning. In which case, you need to be treated at a hospital.
2. Feet are not how you eliminate toxins. Your liver and kidneys remove toxins and byproducts. You eliminate them through your urine and feces. Not your feet.
3. Your feet are made for walking. And that's just what they'll do.Has anyone tried the cleanse patch.. the detox things you put on your feet? Do you think it works?
I have tried them and I would not recommend them at all.
I worked at a natural health food store for almost three years and was one of the ';guinea pigs'; for this product when it first came out.
I put them on at night and when I woke up in the morning my feet were a gooey black nasty smelling mess. I also got terribly sick the day I used them.
I honestly don't know if they work or not (the fact that they made me sick makes me think that there is some validity in them) but I know that there are a lot better ways to detox that aren't so gross and don't make you feel sick. They were also extremely expensive, and you could purchase a better detox for a similar price.
Has anyone tried the cleanse patch.. the detox things you put on your feet? Do you think it works?
I haven't tried the patches but I have tried the one that is a machine with the tub of water and you put the special box in the water...it was one that my mother purchased and I tried it a couple of times...keeping an open mind but not expecting anything either!
Well, I did notice two thing each time I tried it...1) I had more energy...which was good but I had a hard time sleeping the night of the detox session; and 2) the constant pain that I have in my right shoulder from the several times I have fallen and hurt it seemed to go away for awhile and I had more flexibility with it. Now, it doesn't last forever, but it really did help--which really shocked me! They have a certain recommendation on how often to do, then take a break for so many weeks or months, etc. I know that when my time was up from soaking my feet, the water was absolutely disgusting looking!
This is one of those things that some people may notice some changes and others may not...I know that probably doesn't help much! Sorry! :0)
My Naturalpathic/Homeopathic doctor prescribed them to me when I had heavy metals in me. I could see things that had collected on the patch, a metallic sheen. Also he tested me after using them and the metals were gone.
I believe they work for what they are good at, there are many ways to cleanse your body. Each for its own purpose.
Inverse is right. You don't need to 'cleanse' or 'detox' yourself. Detox is a term for getting someone off an abusable substance.
And as for those patches, there's been a bunch of threads of them. They're a scam. They contain a chemical that turns dark on contact with water/sweat. Pour a little on and take a look.
No - it is a crock. Don't feed into it. Don't buy it. You can leave one out on your nightstand and it will change color. OR get a bunch of your friends together and try it - evry pad will look the same. So everyone has the EXACT same toxins? I think not.
You don't need it. You can do a natural cleanse using food from your kitchen. Eat only green vegetables, egg whites and drink 8 glasses of water for 3 days. Add fish after Day 3. Add whole grains after Day 5.
I read somewhere that this is a scam.
Hope this helps.
I haven't tried it. The idea is silly.
